Venue: The John Marshall Ballrooms
This classic black tie Richmond wedding took place at St. Peter's Catholic Church and The John Marshall Ballrooms. We started the day at Linden Row Inn where Heather and the girls were getting ready. We love the rooms and the window light there! Sean then headed over to photograph the guys at The John Marshall bar. From there, we met at the Virginia State Capitol, where Heather and Jake did a first look followed by portraits. The bridesmaids' dresses perfectly matched the doors at the Capitol, which we thought made the wedding party photos even prettier. Their church was breathtaking, and The John Marshall never disappoints. It was really awesome to work with one of our favorite bands, Affirmative Groove, and to see the work of a live painter capturing the dance floor. Heather and Jake are truly beautiful inside and out, and so are their families and friends. We are so grateful to have been the couple to capture their wedding!
